MD Electric Group was founded in 1999 by Mac Davey in Tacoma, Washington. What began as a marine electrical contractor serving Puget Sound vessels has grown into a multi-division operation with capabilities spanning marine, commercial, engineering, backed by IBEW-trained electricians and a UL 508A certified panel shop.
Today, MDEG serves the U.S. Coast Guard, NOAA, the Navy, Washington State Ferries, and commercial clients across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Our affiliate, Fail-Safe Electric, extends our reach into residential and light commercial markets.
